Review:Plunge into your childhood and just keep making bubbles! Cute little dragons and truly blockbuster music together constitute a good "avoid the enemies and pick up items" game. Blow bubbles to catch the enemy inside and then jump on it to pop and, consequently, destroy the evil creature. In addition to so to say "regular" enemies be aware of the Monsters - dangerous, insidious and very fast running. The Ghost appears when you get stuck and it takes you too much time to complete the level. Unfortunately, you can't kill him.
But, of course, the game would not be complete without special items that somehow alleviate your troubles. The shoes will increase the speed; the umbrellas take you forward to a certain number of stages, and so on. Moreover, the game is bubbling with items that increase the scores: fruits, vegetables, diamonds, and even cocktails. If it were measured by graphics alone, the Bubble Bobble Nostalgie would not even get a C-:no stunning effects or impressive backgrounds.
But as for the rest, I'd say the game is an excellent time killer. Each time the evil monsters managed to take the last life of the little dragon, I got very frustrated and started over and over again. I guess that's how the whole hour vanished away without my noticing it. The players can expect 200 levels of endless bubble blowing and popping! Though I'm not sure whether anyone is brave enough to waste the day trying to destroy the Big Bosses (appearing each 100 levels).
